Pick Up Instructions

Due to the closure of Lower Road, Bookham until mid November we are not able to pick up from our usual pick up points. We have made arrangements to leave from the Leisure Centre in Leatherhead, where there is plenty of parking space which will be free to our group. We will leave at 12.45 and expect to return between 5.45 and 6pm. We now have 44 members and it will take some time to collect the parking permits and load the coach, so please be prompt!

We are arranging a trip to the New Victoria Theatre Woking on Wednesday 4th October to see the matinee performance of the ‘Life of Pi’ which had rave reviews during its London run.

The stage play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Yann Martel and originally published in 2001. Pi is a 16-year-old Indian boy stranded on a life raft after the ship he was travelling on sinks in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. His companion, among others, is a Royal Bengal Tiger! The Handspring Puppet Company, the maker of the puppets for Warhorse, also made the Pi puppets; so, you know you are in for a real treat.

The cost of the outing is £49.00pp which includes the ticket and coach travel to and from Woking. Exact timings and pick-up points have yet to be confirmed, but we aim to get you to Woking in good time for the afternoon performance starting at 2.30pm
