The group was formed in 2008 and has been following a time line of global artists and art movements. We are currently looking at 20th century art but nothing is set in stone! If someone has a burning desire to present something different that is fine.
Where we meet: We meet in members’ houses where individuals are encouraged to make a short informal presentation on an artist (no outings).
We are a friendly bunch and do not have an ‘expert’ leader. We all learn from each other’s research. A discussion is encouraged over a cup of tea and cake! There is no right or wrong and everyone’s opinion is respected. We occasionally watch an appropriate U-tube video to supplement our meetings and like to meet socially in December to chat (about anything) over a festive mince pie!
