Bridge is a very popular pastime in the Bookham U3A. Groups meet in each other’s houses when convenient and a session usually comprises two tables. Bookham U3A currently has four Bridge Groups of varying standards of play.

Some of the Groups were formed a long time ago and now have experienced players still meeting, but some of the more recently formed Groups have less experienced players eager to learn the finer points of the game. The Leatherhead U3A Group led by Frank Sinnock meets in St. Mary’s Church Hall from 10.00a.m. to 12.15p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month and Bookham members are welcome to attend.

Also charity Bridge events are held from time to time in the area.
