We visit member's gardens and allotments as well as local places of interest. We are a very friendly group with plenty of banter discussing various aspects of vegetable gardening such as how to deter the dreaded slugs and snails to purchasing a Hotbin Composter. Our meetings always end with enjoying coffee and cake!
The group usually meets on the second Saturday morning of each month at 10am.
It is important to note that we have been doing more outings as this can be a large no of people to accommodate In people’s homes. These outings can also be extra to our meeting dates as we join with a Fetcham vegetable group and a gardening group to make up the required numbers for these visits
The Group Administrator will always inform this very pro-active group members of meetings and visits in good time and welcomes ideas and suggestions of places to visit and suggestions related to growing vegetables and practices.
