The game of Mah-Jong has been played in Britain since the early part of the twentieth century. It was spectacularly popular in the 1920’s, and is now enjoying a similar resurgence. Those who have played Mah-Jong before will understand and appreciate its enduring qualities, the beauty of the materials, and the excitement of the play, the fascination of the style and the formality of its Eastern Tradition.

The game we play according to the book “Know the Game: Mah-Jong” produced in collaboration with the British Mah-Jong Association.

The group has been running for over 20 years and our meetings are held at The Old Barn Hall, Great Bookham on most Fridays.
