If you’ve always wanted to play a musical instrument but never got round to it, or if you fancy taking up another one, then the Ukulele group could be for you.  Instruments are cheap to buy and you don’t need to be able to read music!

We are a mixed ability group.  When we formed in January 2019 we had a leader to get us started, but now we help each other and everyone has the chance to lead pieces of their choice.  Our aim is to acquire skills while playing and singing pieces from a variety of genres from standards to folk and rock and, most importantly, to have fun.

Complete beginners are offered the option of an additional 1:1 session with an existing member for the first couple of months and there’s lots of help online.

If you want to make music and have fun at no great expense, then why not give us a try.
